My name is Nik Peran. I’ve been a registered builder in Perth since 1991. Most of the projects have been for home owners. Lots of pergolas, carports, bathroom renos and structural alterations. There was also a fair number of extensions.

Occasionally I forayed into commercial work. This included factory refurbishments in Welshpool and Port Hedland. Also a large hotel in Belmont while it was fully occupied. Talk about a challenge!

But really I enjoy domestic stuff more. Nowadays things have scaled down a bit. My situation is best suited to smaller jobs up to $20K. I can handle most trades by myself. That translates to cost savings and faster completion. The variety keeps things interesting.

If I have a specialty it’s that I like working closely with people to help realize their dream. I only do one job at a time. That way I stay focused to keep things moving quickly. Renovating is stressful enough as it is. My philosophy is don’t drag it out longer than it needs to be.
